It is a song that was originally performed by Chen Fen-lan, and was made popular by Taiwanese singing icon Teresa Teng.

The said one of a kind stint happened as the singer prepares to embark on his Asian tour, which will start this fall. He will be having stops in Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Seoul.

From the looks of it, Jovi is not the first non-Chinese performer who took the boat in singing the popular song. Apparently, Vienna Boys Choir also did in October last year.

And then, there's New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra who performed the song in Beijing during her tour in 2011 with Andrea Bocelli.

Kenny G (Album) and Malaysian songstress Siti Nurhaliza (Voice of Asia) also had their share in 2006 and 2009 respectively.
