Typhoon 'Soudelor' to enter PAR) on Wednesday

World's strongest storm under international name "Soudelor" is predicted to enter Philippine's area of responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday, national weather bureau reported.

Soudelor or by local name "Hanna" has become the strongest tropical cyclone yet of 2015 but it is expected to spare the Philippines. It is unlikely to make a landfall in the country.

Soudelor is categorized by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) as a super-typhoon - a massive cyclone. According to JTWC's data this morning, Soudelor was packing a 1-minute average maximum sustained winds of 287 kilometers per hour.

"Soudelor was spotted 1,995 kilometers east of Luzon, packing 10-minute average maximum sustained winds of 210 kph near the center and gusts of up to 245 kph.", Philippine state weather bureau PAGASA said.

-Thunderstorm is affecting #Rizal(Cainta,Taytay,Cupang),#MetroManila(Marikina,Cubao), #Batangas(SanJose,Ibaan,Calaca,Balayan,Tuy,Lipa) which may persist within 2 hours.
Expect Thunderstorm over #Laguna and other areas of #Rizal,#MetroManila,#Batangas within the next 2 hours.
All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods. Keep monitoring for updates.
